A sonic fusion of nature, meditation, and cinema.
With Life, Munich-based composer and producer Jakob Balogh collaborates with internationally renowned cellist Martin Tillman, known for his work with Hans Zimmer, to create a unique fusion of organic sound, cinematic storytelling, and spiritual sound design.
Rather than a traditional album, Life unfolds as a 31-minute journey — structured in five connected movements — designed to be experienced as a meditative ritual, a state of mind, a space to enter.
Between nature and electronics, a sound world emerges that feels both ancient and contemporary. Field recordings of natural sounds merge with deep synth layers, shamanic drums, and fragmented vocals to form a hypnotic meditation on the elements of life.
At the heart of Life lies the cello of Martin Tillman — at times warm and intimate, at other times distant and otherworldly — like a voice from another dimension.
Life is music intended to let the listener dissolve in the moment. For moments of stillness, of transformation, for meditation, psychedelic journeys.
It is a hybrid of nature and technology. Of human and machine. Of tradition and future.
